WASHINGTON SCHOOL FINANCE

See what infrastructure costs have competed with a district’s General Fund.

Search a Washington school district to review reported General Fund infrastructure costs over the last five or ten available fiscal years. Then model how much additional General Fund capacity could be created if selected asset-preservation costs became eligible for capital funding.
This is a policy model, not a claim that capital cash is available.
The calculator distinguishes reported spending from legal eligibility. A cost becoming capital-eligible does not mean a district has unrestricted capital resources to pay it. Bond covenants, levy language, revenue availability, and other restrictions still matter.
