Public Records Request

SchoolBoardHQ holds certain records on behalf of school board members. If you're requesting copies of those records under a public records law such as Washington's RCW 42.56, use the form below.

This is for records held by SchoolBoardHQ, not your school district

If you want board minutes, budgets, contracts, correspondence, or any other district record, request them from the district itself. Filing here does not reach your district, is not forwarded to it, and does not start any deadline the law puts on them.

What we do hold

Messages sent through SchoolBoardHQ, documents members have uploaded here, community posts, and directory information — the records this platform creates and stores itself.

How to make your request specific

1.
Name the records you want, not the topic — “messages between A and B, January to March” rather than “anything about the levy”.
2.
Give a date range. An open-ended request takes longer and may come back asking for one.
3.
Tell us how to reach you. We aim to acknowledge every request within 5 business days.

Tell us what records you're looking for and how to reach you. A SchoolBoardHQ admin will follow up by email.
